Frame

The frame has designed by UG software with welding solid steel structure. Fabrication is extremely rigid, giving minimal defection under load.

Electrical Control

All electrical elements are in accordance with DIN standard. The machine is fitted with many Telemecanique (France) components which have overload protection reliability and are easily obtained throughout the world.

Holddowns

They receive a pre-set clamping force before the shear action starts and force builds up proportionally to the thickness and tensile strength of the plate being cut. At the left end, to guarantee on even better clamping the holddowns are positioned closer together allowing the clamping of narrow strips by more than one holddown.

Reliable Hydraulics

The hydraulic power pack which blocks hydraulics minimizes loss. Some connections are manufactured by YSD. Extremely reliable and precise REXROTH or VICKERS or BOSCH valves are used for regulating circuit. There is also a low sound lever pump and a large tank with oil level and temperature gauge on oil filter. Double acting cylinders ensure high reliable safety and reliable guarantee.

Blade Beam Guiding

Three pairs of rollers ensure optimal guiding of blade beam. The two lower roller guides (A) offer maximum resistance to horizontal forces, while the upper pair (B) forms a reverse torque to balance the cutting beam. The beam is permanently forced against the rollers by a third pair of prestressed roller guides (C). During the cutting action, the angle movement of the beam provides a clearance so that a precise, straight, vertical cut edge is obtained, reducing burrs and friction between the upper and lower blades.

Back Gauge

YSD shears have a motorized backgauge operated from the front of the machine. Motorized backgauge with digit readout, can be easily adjusted. Backgauge travel can be in inches. Some version also offers as standard a complete swing-up backgauge to enable the cut of strips wider than the backgrauge range. One of the options available is a pneumatically operated swing away backgauge, enables material to be cut which is beyond the maximum range of the backgauge.

Table & Support Plates

This feature has great efficiency and less risk of damage to the plates. Ball transporter and bar can easily move the plate.

Safety Device

YSD machines have been designed to comply with health and safety requirements of the Machinery Directive, and offer a range of optional devices and safety based on customer's specific requirements, such as safety light curtain. CE safety guards is available.

Modes of Operation

The control panel is equipped with a key switch to allow the choice of single or continuous stroking which the operator activates by using the movable foot switch.

Cutting Angle

YSD's independent control for blade gap and cutting angles are important features to obtain an optimal result and ideal setting for virtually any kind of material.

Blade Gap

Satisfactory cutting results can only be obtained when the rake angle and blade gap are adjusted correctly.

Frame Throat

No throat or opening throat up to 100 mm in the side frames is standard. A deep throat is not standard, but it allows option, which the cut of sheet plate longer than the blade length, up to a width will be required by user.

Cutting Length / Strokes

The cutting length is easily adjusted by a portentionmeter on the control panel. Short strokes may be used to cut material shorter than the entire blade length, thus reducing the cutting time and increasing productivity.

High Quality Blade

Made of high Carbon high Chrome steel, each blade has four cutting edges and are suitable for the cutting of most materials including stainless steel and can be turned three times before regrind.

Front Supporting

Front supporting squaring arm with t-slots and scales & finger protection & limit stop carrier.

Shadow Line Lighting

It is handy and clear with the shadow line lighting for a close and accurate view of the cutting line.
